Who was Michael Jackson?
Michael Jackson, also known as ’The King of Pop’, was an American musician and entertainer whose successful music career and controversial personal life have been at the fore front of Pop culture of the quarter-century.
Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. His extraordinary musical carrier started at age of five as the lead singer of the Jackson five, along with four of his brothers. These early days saw the Jackson play the local club and bars near their home town. They were soon discovered by another artist and got to audition for Motown in 1968.
Career
Jackson immediately after their signing, the Jacksons moved to California and the hits started the rolling in. ABC and I’ll be these were among the No.1 hits in the US and they went on to record 14 albums.
In 1976, The Jackson Five became ‘The Jackson’s’ and they signed a deal with Epic with whom they went on to record a further six albums up until 1984. In 1977, Michael Jackson teamed up with Quincy Jones who produced his first solo album, Off The Wall’ which became huge successes around the world and realized four No.1 singles in the US.
Became a Great Solo Artist and the Winner of Grammy Holder
In 1982 that Jackson was find true stardom as solo artist with the release of Thriller, Selling 50 million copies worldwide and producing fever than seven No.1 singles, Thriller is the world’s largest selling album of all time.
In conjunction with this, working with the best film directors and producers, Jackson used the state of the art video technology and special effects to create a 14-minute film to accompany the title track of the album. The Thriller led to Jackson wining eight Grammy awards.
An album, bad and a world tour followed in 1987 and in 1991. Jackson signed to Sony and released his fourth solo album, Dangerous. In 1994, Jackson married the daughter of Lisa Presley, Lisa Marie Presley. The marriage lasted any 19 months and they divorced in 1996.
Following the release of his fifth album, History, Jackson married for a second time to a nurse, Debbie Rowe. Their first child, Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. was born in 1997 and daughter, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born the following year in 1998. His third child was from a surrogate mother.
Hard time
Jackson’s personal relationships and life generated controversy for years. His changing appearances were noticed from the 1970s onwards, with changes to his nose and to the colour of the skin drawing media publicity. He was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993 through no changes was brought, and in 2005 he was tried and acquitted when the jury ruled him not guilty on all changes.

Deal with Many Artists
Jackson and Sony bought Famous Music LLC from Viacom in 2007. This deal gave him the rights to songs by Eminem, Shaker and Beck, among others. The 25th anniversary of thriller was marked by worldwide. In November, Jackson transfer Neverland Ranch’s title to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC.
This deal cleared Jackson’s debt, and he reportedly even gained an extra $35 million from the venture. At the time of the death, Jackson still owned a stake in Neverland/Sycamore Valley’ but it is unknown how large stake was.
Back to perform and Life Achievements
In March 2009, Jackson announced in press conference at London’s O2 arena that he would perform there in major comeback concerts titled This Is it. While pre for this concert tour in 2009, Jackson died at the age of 50 after suffering from cardiac arrest. He reportedly had been administered drugs and his death was ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County coroner.
